Diploma Policy

The requirements for being granted a degree signifying the completion of the above training are as follows, regardless of academic department.

  1. Enrollment for the length of time stipulated by the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, receipt of education related to the selected academic program as well as guidance in accordance with the principals and objectives of the selected field of research, and finally passing of a review of a masters or doctorate thesis and a final examination within the prescribed number of years, thereby completing the academic curriculum, are all requirements for being granted a degree. Being evaluated as being able to discuss and defend the results and the significance of your research both academically and logically during the masters screening and final exam is an important requirement for masters students. Being evaluated as being able to discuss and defend the results and the significance of your research at an international level of competency during the doctorate screening and final exam is an important requirement for doctorate students.
  2. Students in the doctorate program must take 16 or more credits of college courses, and, through their educational career in the program, should have gained a deep knowledge and technical skill in a specialized field so they can think on their feet as an elite medical specialist in society, as well a multi-disciplinary experience in the field of research, regardless of the specialty.
  3. Special consideration is given to those who, upon completion of the program, have made outstanding achievements as researchers or who possess the practical skills or experience in scholarship necessary for working at a highly specialized post.
  4. Consideration is given upon completion of the program to those whose research is highly ethical, have a strong ethical viewpoint, and excellent environmental management abilities, and who can contribute to the well-being of the local region and the world.
