The importance of chirality is now well recognized in connection with physiological and pharmacological properties of natural and artificial organic compounds including medicines.
The aim of project is the development of a methodology for highly efficient chiral control based on five-membered heterocyclic and related systems. The study along
- chiral synthesis of polyfunctional compounds with contiguous stereocenters via versatile chiral synthons
- development of highly efficient "roofed" chiral auxiliaries and chiral ligands is in active progress, as outlined in Figure
