The specialized education curriculum at the School of Pharmacy is based upon our belief that, "the pharmaceutical sciences are an integral part of science as a whole and that it contributes greatly to society in many varied medicinal applications". This specialised curriculum gives students the opportunity to acquire a basic knowledge of the creation, production and management of pharmaceutical products, covering environmental, health and sanitation issues as well as the many other skills required to become elite, ethically minded pharmacists. To help meet these ends, the pharmaceutical science course has been split into the School of pharmacy, a six-year course and The Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences, a four-year course focusing on the training of researchers. In addition, we have also started the first "Research Institute for Drug Discovery" in Japan. This institute is set to be a center of education support for Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences as well as acting as a hub for the education and training of prestigious drug researchers.

The purpose behind our two new courses; Both the Pharmacy course and the Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences course are an integral part of our school policy to train young pharmacists with leadership initiative and capable of competing in international field of drug development and Life Sciences.
